Developed by YGA graduates in 2006, Istanbul Cultural Ambassadors/ Culture Surfers Program is designed to introduce the city of Istanbul, Turkish Culture and Turkish cuisine through tours of the city, visits to historical and cultural places, demonstrations of Turkish music,dance and art, providing the participants with an unforgettable cultural experience.

The participants will stay at YGA graduates'_ homes and will be accompanied on the daily tours of Istanbul by YGA graduates.

Upon their return to their countries, the participants are expected to promote Istanbul in their universties through collaboration with the Turkish student bodies of their universities and or through organizing events on their own

Istanbul Culture Tour:

• YGA graduates will host the participants  
• YGA graduates will be the tour guides in Istanbul
• Turkish Culture will be introduced with its many various aspects
• Istanbul Cultural Ambassadors will have a hands-on-experience in Turkish Cooking
• Istanbul Cultural Ambassadors will have the opportunity to witness Living Like an Istanbulite.
