Visually Impaired Leaders at the Dragonboat Races :

On May 31 and June 1, 15 visually impaired youth and 15 YGA dream partners and YGA graduates participated in a dragonboat race in Halic in Istanbul. This was our leader team building workshop. For the first time in Turkey, visually impaired and non-impaired youth took part in this kind of an program. 50 other organizations also participated in the race.

At the end of the two day races YGA's team which consisted of both visually impaired and sighted team members won medals for being "Sultans of Everbodies Hearts".

We would like to thank all our YGA dream-partners who have supported us in our project of the empowerment of the visually impaired youth by taking part in this race to educate the society to better understand the visually impaired and to educate the youth as visually impaired leaders.
